Honda VFR1200F Sports Tourer is one of the most exciting motorcycles in Honda’s history and the future of Honda motorcycling. Honda Motorcycles and Scooters(HMSI) India might bring this sports tourer VFR1200F in India by 2010-11. The Bike could be priced in the range of Rs. 30-50 lakhs though there is no official word out on all these details as no company spokesperson was available to comment on this development.

Honda VFR1200F is a sport touring motorcycle that was earlier announced by Honda company in the year 2009. It was first showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Philips Xenium X712 Well-Equipped Mobile Phone

Philips Xenium X712 is a clamshell model with dimensions 10.6 x 5.2 x 1.7 cm and weighs 138 grams. Philips X712 proposes an operation on GSM / GPRS / EDGE, two SIM card slots, a large 2.8-inch AMOLED display 65,536 colors and 240 x 400 (WQVGA resolution) for the main display, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, a media player, an FM tuner with RDS and a 3.5 mm audio output for connecting headphones.

To this is added a 30 MB internal memory to hold the data, a slot for memory cards microSD / microSDHC with a maximum capacity of 8GB, miniUSB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and a fingerprint reader . As for autonomy, it is ensured by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion 1050 mAh capacity for up to 8 hours talk and up to 744 hours standby.

The mobile phone Philips Xenium X712 is expected by the end of the month. It remains to discover the price, which is currently unknown.

Viliv N5 Mini-Laptop – Specs and Price

The Viliv N5 mini-laptop with a 4.8-inch touchscreen display is now available in the US. The 0.85-pound Viliv N5 with a QWERTY keyboard, the Intel Atom Z520 1.3GHz processor, 32GB solid state drive, 1GB RAM, 6 hours of battery life, and Windows 7 OS. The display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

Viliv’ mini notebook also includes camera and mic, stereo speakers, optical joystick, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, internal Huawei EM770W 3G mobile broadband module, GPS, one USB port, and an Micro SDHC slot. The 3G-enabled N5 is available via Dynamism.com for a price of $799. The same device with Wi-Fi only connectivity will be sold for $649, with shipment expected on July 19th.

Dell Precision M6500 Notebook with 32GB RAM

Dell brings its mobile workstation Precision M6500 with some new specs. Now it can support up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM, which is achieved using four DIMM slots that pack 8GB modules each.

The other features of Dell Precision M6500 stayed the same: This 17-inch notebook based on the productive Quad Intel Core i7 and Core i7 Extreme, equipped with high-end graphics card ATI FirePro M7740, NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M or the Quadro FX 3800M. Disk drives can be up to 1,5 TB, and as an optical drive, you can choose DVD or Blu-ray.

Dell Inspiron iM501R Laptop 3

Dell Inspiron iM501R 15.6-inch laptop laptop is now available. There are two configurations offered by company – The iM501R-1459MRB features the AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 2.1GHz processor and integrated graphics, while the iM501R-2272MRB includes the AMD Phenom II Quad-Core P920 1.6GHz CPU and ATI Radeon HD550v 1GB dedicated video card.

Both Inspiron R series laptops have 4GB of DDR3 memory, 500GB of hard disk space, a DVD burner, and a 1366×768 display resolution. Dell’s iM501R also includes a 1.3MP web camera, Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth in iM501R-2272MRB, three USB ports, an eSATA/USB combo port, a 7-in-1 media card reader, and HDMI and VGA outputs. The notebooks start at 5.76 pounds with the standard 6-cell battery and run Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Samsung Haven Easy-To-Use Flip Phone

Samsung announced a new flip mobile called Samsung Haven. The new mobile is equipped with 2.2″ internal screen, the phone is text message capable and offers 56-note polyphonic ringtones. Full menu readout for enhanced accessibility is delivered on the easy-to-read screen that is further complemented by the adjustable font size functionality.

The utility tools include calendar and scheduling assistant, calculator with currency converter, world clock and stop watch. The Samsung Haven will be available as of July 29th for $39.99 on a two-year customer contract.

Samsung PL200 Slim and Stylish Digital Camera

Samsung has announced the PL200, a slim and stylish 14.2 megapixel camera. The PL200 includes a long 7x optical zoom lens, with a 35mm film equivalent focal length of 31mm-217mm, and both optical and digital image stabilization. It has a 3.0-inch, 230,000 dot LCD screen. It can record 720p HD video at 30 frames per second in H.264 format. The PL200 will be available in September at a list price of $179.99.

Google Chrome OS netbooks are due towards the end of this year and those netbooks will have the consumer version of the OS. There will also be a business version of the OS coming the following year in 2011 which will have functionality suited to businesses, or “more management muscle” as Drewry, Google software security engineer puts it.

On the point of security, Chrome OS netbooks may come with a hardware switch located underneath the battery which lets you turn off some specialized security functions so you can run in “developer mode”, a feature which will allow developers to tinker with Chrome OS code and bring up new ideas.
